3. 外國學生入學須知

 


  一、申請資格:

不具僑生身分與中華民國國籍之外國籍學生,且具備下列條件者,均得申請入學:

1.符合教育部採認規定之國外大學或獨立學院畢業生
(含應屆畢業生)。

2.具備中文聽、說、讀、寫能力,且其總平均及相關主要學術科成績均在B或七十五分以上。

  二、申請時間:

每年十二月一日至次年二月二十八日止,受理下一學年度(次年九月)入學申請,每年辦理一次;逾期者得移至下一學年度辦理。

  三、準備繳交資料:

1.國立臺北藝術大學外國學生入學申請表兩份
(含兩吋半身脫帽照片兩張)。

2.最高學歷之外國學校畢業證書影本兩份(中文或英文譯本)及該學程之全部成績單英文譯本兩份(須由原畢業學校加蓋戳章或鋼印後密封)。

3.兩封推薦信。

4.健康證明書一份(包括人類免疫缺乏病毒有關檢查)。

5.財力證明書一份(具備足夠在台求學期間之財力)。

6.中文研究計畫一式三份:研究計畫應包含下列內容-研究計畫綱要、計畫內容、重要參考書目、自傳、學習經歷(附證明為佳)、畢業證書影本、成績單(附排名簽證為佳);請依次以A4規格裝訂成冊。

7.個人作品集一份:內容可以是設計、藝術創作作品、學術或文藝文字著作、或參與文化資產活動資料。

8.申請費用。

※所有繳交資料均不予退還,請自行保留原稿。

  四、申請及審查程序:

1.於受理時間內繳交所有資料逕向本校教務處直接提出申請。

2.第一階段-書面審查:本所就申請人資格、研究計畫與個人作品集等資料,進行書面審查,於每年五月三十一日前將審查結果送交本校教務處,成績達七十分(含)以上者為初審合格。

3.第二階段-中文能力測驗:初審合格者,應參加本校舉辦之外國學生中文能力測驗,成績達六十分(含)以上者,再提送本校「外國學生入學審查小組」審查,審查通過後簽請校長核定,發給入學許可。

  五、注意事項:

1.外國學生入學註冊時,應檢附醫療及傷害保險或全民健康保險證明文件,其保險有效期須包括在台留學期間;未投保者,須強制繳納保險費,委由本校代辦投保事宜,否則取消入(在)學資格。

2.入學本校之外國學生到校時,已逾該學年第一學期三分之一課程者,當學年不得入學。但經本所所長同意者,得於第二學期註冊入學。

  六、除上述須知外,所有申請者應依照「本校外國學生入學辦法」
          規定辦理。

 


   Guidelines for Foreign Students’Admission

   1. Qualifications:

       Foreign students without compatriot status or the R. O. C. citizenship are         qualified to apply for the admission if meeting the following requirements:

     (1) People graduated from foreign institutes recognized by the Ministry of                  Education of the R. O. C. ,( graduating students included ).

     (2) People with sound ability to listen, speak, read, and write in Chinese as                  well as the average academic performance and major courses at least                  graded B or 75 points.

   2. Time to apply:

       Application for the admission in the next academic year (starting in Sep.)         should be received every year from Dec. 1 to Feb. 28 of following year.
       After the deadline, the application will not be considered until a year later.

   3. Documents required:

     (1) Two filled copies of the Foreign Students’ Admission Application of                  Taipei National University of the Arts, including two bust photos of
                2.5 inches in length.

     (2) Two photocopies (either in Chinese or English) of the highest degree                  obtained by the applicant from a foreign institute and two copies of the                  English transcription of full academic records, which should be sealed                  by that institute.

     (3) Two recommendations.

     (4) One copy of the health report ( including checks on the human immune                  deficiency virus).

     (5) Evidence for financial support (enough for the stay in Taiwan).

     (6) Three copies of Study Plan in Chinese, which in content should
                 include the summary and the main text of the study plan with                   bibliography,autobiography, educational background and working                   experiences (preferably verified), a photocopy of the parchment,
                 transcription of full academic records (preferably with signatures
                 and order of excellence). These documents should be arranged in
                 said order and in A4 size.

     (7) A portfolio, which in content can be design works, artistic creations,                  academic or literary written works, or records of personal participation                  in cultural heritage.

     (8) Application fee.

        ※ There will be no return of any documents; please do not hand in the               original ones.

   4. Application and examination procedures:

     (1) All the required documents should be handed in directly to the Office
                 of Educational Administration of the University during the application                  time.

     (2) First stage – examination on documents. The examination will be                  based on the applicants’ qualifications, study plans, and their                  portfolios. Results will be sent to the Office of Educational                  Administration of the University by May 31 every year. Those who
                gain over 70 points are qualified in this stage.

     (3) Second stage – tests on Chinese comprehension. Those who are                  qualified in the first stage should join tests on Chinese comprehension                  for foreign students held by the University. Those who get 60 or more                  points for this test will be furthermore examined by the Foreign
                Students Examination Committee of the University. After the                  examination, the principal of the University will grant the admission to                  those who are qualified.

  5. Notes:

    (1) At registration, foreign students should hand in the documents of                 medical care and injuries insurance or national health insurance. The                 valid period for these insurances should cover students stay in Taiwan.                 Those who don’t have the insurances are obliged to make payment
                and entrust the University to apply for ones; otherwise, students will be                 disqualified from the admission.

    (2) Foreign students, if arriving at school after 1/3 of a semester, will not be                 accepted for that semester; but with the permission from the director of                 the Graduate School, they may register in the next semester.

  6. The above guidelines are subject to amendment or supplement under the        University’s Foreign Students Admission Rules.
